Great News! Fundraising for the Rillito River Park Disc Golf Course is officially
under way! The Phase 1 price tag for 19 baskets and installation is approximately
$7,400. When TDGA reaches $3,700, the Pima County Parks and Recreation
Department will match us and Phase 1 will begin.
Unlike Tucson’s last course, Quail Canyon, this will be a free to play course, open to all. We won’t be able to offer incentives of free rounds like we could at Quail, but those that help fund this course will have their names proudly displayed, first on the Rillito River Park
Disc Golf Course Message Board, which will one day greet players at the course
entry, and later, on individual Tee Signs as that later phase gets added. For display
purposes on our Message Board, the course/basket sponsorship will have the
following categories based on the general cost of Removable “Championship
Level” Baskets (TBD) that will eventually be purchased for the course.
National Tour – Elite Series Donor: $240 (1 person)/Tax-exempt $270
Super Tour – A Tier Donor: $120 each (2 persons) /Tax-exempt $135 ea.

Standard donation checks should be made payable to the Tucson Disc Golf Club.
There is a way to make your donation a charitable donation that can be taken off
of your taxes, but be aware that there is an administration fee of 10%. So, this
means to give the Rillito DGC project the same dollar amount, the donation
amount would need to be larger: $270 instead of $240. (See above.)
Charitable donation checks should be made payable to the Parklands Foundation,
with a note in the “For” blank specifying Rillito Disc Golf Course.
Printable donation forms can be found on the TDGA website. Please see any of the
TDGA Board Members with your Rillito River Park DGC donations or questions.
