‘A’ teepad signs to go up at Santa Cruz on April 6

The days of dazed newbies walking around searching for the next hole at Santa Cruz DGC are numbered. And that number is … 22.

On Saturday April 6th, TDGC will be installing the “A” teepad signs at Santa Cruz, board member emeritus and Santa Cruz course pro Ben Vosper has announced. Work starts at 9 a.m. and volunteers are needed. Look for the Facebook event invite, coming soon, for more details.

Special thanks to the City of Tucson for providing the basic signs and Ben for his relentless pursuit of materials and manpower to properly mount and vandal-proof the signs with frames and plexi. Also thanks to Ed and others who have worked to create proper frames and gather other necessary hardware.

Note: This is a PRIME EXAMPLE of your club dollars at work. TDGC is funding the sign covers, hardware etc., without which the nice-but-naked signs would last about 10 minutes.
